Nilesh Roy Joins Spocto Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as a CISO & Vice President – IT Operations. Before this, Nilesh was the CISO and Head of Information Technology at VGM Consultants Private Limited. In his new role, Nilesh will look after all aspects of IT Operations, IT Compliance, and Information Security.
Nilesh is an executive-level IT management professional with more than 25+ years of progressive experience in InfoSec, Technology Operations, Delivery Management, Service Revenue Management, Gross Margin profitability, Service Delivery, Remote Infrastructure Management, IT Infrastructure Services, IT Consulting, Strategy Planning, ERP Greenfield Implementations & ERP Harmonisation across regions.
Nilesh Roy started his career with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications in the year 1996. Later on, he did a post-graduation certificate program from Columbia Business School. His first job was through a campus selection at Datapro Infoworld as a Sr. Customer Support Engineer. His hard work and dedication gave him many chances to prove himself and he proved too.
He has Domain Expertise and Consulting experience in multiple industry verticals like High Tech (AI & ML), Manufacturing, Banking, Finance, Insurance, Media, Logistics, Transportation, and Power Distribution In his career span now, he has worked with start-ups, small, big and large enterprises like S.K.International, Hexaware Technologies, Shinsei Bank, Capgemini, Nucleus GIS & ITeS Ltd., Barclays Bank, Bhilai Engineering Corporation Limited, TagWings Technologies Pvt. Ltd., VGM Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
He is also on CISO Advisory Board at EC-Council, an Executive Member at CyberEdBoard Community, Global Honorary Committee Member in Security & Cyber Security Committee at Della Leaders Club’s Mumbai Chapter, Member of the ICTTF (International Cyber Threat Task Force). These are pro-bono volunteer activities aimed at contributing back to the industry & society.
