Amit Ghodekar Joins Axis Bank as Vice President – Information Security

Amit Ghodekar joined Axis Bank in September 2021 where he holds the position of Vice President – Information Security. Previously he worked at Cover-More Group as a Global Head Cyber Security from May 2020-Sep 2021.

His new responsibilities include:

• Heading the Cyber Assurance function of India’s 3rd largest Bank.
• Risk Assessment / Risk Management
•  Regulatory / Industry Standard Compliance
•  Fraud Detection/ Online Transaction Monitoring
• Effective Employee & Customer Awareness
•  Research on innovative cutting edge cyber security solutions
•  Incident Response / Threat Remediation
•  Win-Win Contract / Partnership Negotiations
•  Good contacts with Law & Enforcement, Cyber Crime Cell & Various Govt Agencies
•  Digital Risk Management

In past, he has worked with Angel Broking Pvt Ltd, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, Cover-More Group as a full-time employee. Amit Ghodekar holds  MBA, IT, Distinction from United Business Institutes which is located in Brussels Region.
